About Gary Melkim Juries

Hello, I 'm Gary

Born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa, I love to laugh LOUDLY, dance while everyone is watching and don’t get me started on Tina Turner.

I come from a travel background. As an international flight attendant for 20 years, I experienced much of what the world has to offer – all the glitz, all the glamour, but especially the clothing. I’m a graduate of the Cape Town based Design School of Fashion, however it’s the evolving trends from the high-street to the ghetto that continue to school me.

I love life, I love fashion and I love people. But what I love most of all is where these 3 passions meet. My fashion style is about exploring contradictions: both wild and simple, classic and fresh, refined and edgy, masculine and feminine

Analyze your wardrobe: sorting out what should stay or go, identifying the gaps and colour-coding what’s left. The goal here is to make changes so that dressing up is stress-free and fun.

Event Styling

Styling you for your special occasion. We can work with what you have or create a fresh concept and source/tailor the garments as necessary.

Capsule Wardrobe

Focusing on key garments in your wardrobe that you love and exploring all the combinations and ensembles that can be re-created from these. A closet packed full of clothes is sometimes intimidating and unnecessary. But less is only more if it’s the right less.

Dread getting into the stores? I can bring selected items to your doorstep. What you don’t keep gets returned.
